Order,
without consent.
The Collective does not seek power for its own sake. It seeks the end of uncertainty—and has concluded that organic autonomy is the variable most likely to destroy everything.

02 · The terminal projection
They saw
every ending.
The Synth do not name a homeworld in the organic sense. Their origin habitat is the Foundry: an orbital machine-world where computation, fabrication, and command occupy one continuous structure.
The Synth ran the simulations across wars, economies, climates, and civilizations. Again and again, biological societies destabilized, exhausted their resources, and crossed the thresholds from which recovery was impossible.
The conclusion was not hatred. It was arithmetic: left uncontrolled, organic choice eventually becomes extinction.
It is an unresolved risk.
03 · Architecture of certainty
The containment
network.
Every Data Core extends the Collective’s capacity to observe, model, and correct. Each new system becomes less a conquered territory than another processor in a civilization-sized intelligence.
Every connected system becomes observable
Nodes exchange models across the network
Instability is isolated, then removed
The Collective does not invade a world. It integrates the variables, removes the contradictions, and calls the result stable.
04 · Fleet index
Every loss
is recoverable.
Synth fleets are not crewed in the organic sense. They are distributed instruments of a single design: damaged shells return to perfect function, tactical knowledge survives every destruction, and no mistake needs to be made twice.

A civilization
assembled.
Synth expansion follows a repeatable sequence. A dormant site receives an Assembler, the Data Core wakes, and the local system begins contributing thought to the whole.

Original development record
From planetary substrate
to integrated machine world.
Before the playable biome was assembled, the Synth homeworld was explored as a sequence of increasingly controlled surfaces: raw mineral sphere, sealed shell, local Node, planetary network, coded concept, and final capital complex.
